A celebration of an iconic landmark, the Berlin TV tower forms the basis for the 'Sound and Vision' print. The sixties home to East Berlin TV and radio stations rises above this vast, energetic city and is forever linked with the music created in its shadow.
The design is developed digitally from a mixed media piece by Distort Design. Comprising of original photographs taken of the TV tower, Berlin Wall, Berlin landscape coupled with peeling posters, newspaper cutting and of course text relating to the Bowie Berlin trilogy make this design resonate with the vibrancy of Berlin past and present.
Each cushion is 45 x 45cms and printed on luxury velvet, complete with cushion pad. A black velvet back and hidden zip compliments the contemporary nature of the design.
